Sound Proofing
Soundproofing is essential behind all four walls and on the base of the spa, but specifically concentrated between the cabinet and the spa's engine (pumps and blowers). It is also important to look for manufacturers that utilize rubber pads under all of the pumps. Keep in mind that many pumps can run for ten to twenty hours a day during low speed filtration cycles, creating an annoying hum. In addition, look for air bubbling systems with blowers that use sound deadening materials, allowing you to hear only the bubbles, not the motor. By having proper soundproofing, along with rubber pads under all of the pumps, you can dramatically minimize any additional noises coming from your spa.
